[The Eeveeloutions are being adorable, bumping faces and bouncing next to each other and wagging tails like the weird cat-dogs they are, and Gil almost thinks it's precious. Too bad he knows Chiffon is a weird vain horrible monster.] Bel, seriously?

I usually am. I live here, after all~ [She sticks her tongue out at him, playfully.] Ah, I would have gone to see you sooner if I'd known... Hm, how long do you plan on staying?

[The question is directed at him, of course, but for some reason, her gaze drops downward as she asks it, watching Bel and Chiffon with her usual smile.]

Oh. You live here. Of course you do. [Well, here's hoping she didn't see that...nonsense with the River King the other weekend. Gil really doesn't want to explain the whole Servant thing.] Uuuh, We're actually on our way out of town. Going to Azalea I think, making a few stops, you know how it is. Actually going to go find a Shuckle like I said I would.

[Bel just wont' stop nuzzling Chiffon's dumb face and papping her weird ribbon tentacle feeler things. They're weird! Why doesn't he get weird feelers? That's weird!]

Oh, is that so? I've been thinking about taking a trip in that direction, too! [Suddenly, she claps her hands together, her expression lighting up even brighter than before.] Oh, I have an idea! If you stay in town for a little while longer, we can make the trip together! It's always more fun to travel with a group, and that would give Chiffon and Bel some time together first, too!

[Uh-oh. She sounds like she already has the whole thing planned out in her head...]

Oh. Uhm, I kind of figured I should head out today...[He pauses as Bel looks up at him with enormous, saucer plate eyes and a wagging tail. He squishes his face against Chiffon and yips. Aaaaagh!]

Aah, alright. Only because Bel really wants to. [Something told him he was going to regret this, or find it extremely troublesome.]

[Immediately, Chiffon begins to chirp, bouncing and prancing around Bel before nuzzling her face up against him again. Manaka's fingers lace together in front of her, and her smile turns so sunny that the air around her practically glows.]

Ah, wonderful! I'm sure you won't regret it. [Haha, that's a lie. Manaka doesn't care whether he regrets it or not! In fact, before he can take the opportunity to voice any skepticism, she cuts him off.] Aha, look at how happy these two are~

I'm sure. [Gil isn't very sure at all, but he has a feeling this is some sort of karma for something he did. Maybe he shouldn't have just abandoned those kids to try and stop Pandora's box on their own, or maybe he should find the god responsible and punch them in the mouth with his mountain-felling-sword...]

[He can't, however, stay mad at how happy Bel is. As much as Chiffon weirded him out, the Umbreon was so genuinely exuberant that he couldn't say no. It was too...innocent to mar with parental (him, of all people, parental) worries. What was the worst that'd happen?] Yeaaah, they're pretty ecstatic, huh?
