Thanks to a breeding mishap, Manaka received two clutches of eggs while attempting to breed Jubilee and Jack's Ponyta, Aethon: one from the intended pair, and one from Chiffon and Aethon. Despite the obvious difference in species, Cannoli seems convinced that Jubilee with Aethon are his birth parents—which is probably for the best, seeing as Chiffon has no interest in acknowledging or taking responsibility for her offspring. Shortly after he hatched, Manaka bought him a fire stone, to help him fit in better alongside his family. With that said, his personality takes after his true mother's more than either of the Pokémon he considers his parents. Though he lacks Chiffon's underhandedness and cunning, Cannoli is headstrong, aggressive, and constantly acts as though he has something to prove. Evolved March 1, 2017.
